Context

Colavosalon was introducing new features, but the website still communicated the product primarily through individual functions. As the product grew, the site needed a clearer way to help prospective salon owners understand what the product could do for them.

I led the website restructuring from information architecture and messaging through responsive implementation in WordPress.

Problem

The Website Explained Features,
but Made It Hard for Users to Connect Them to Their Actual Needs

Feature-focused messaging and an unclear site structure made it difficult for salon owners to understand product value, compare plans, and decide what to do next.

Approach

Reorganize Information Around What Users Need to Know

I restructured page content, clarified feature messaging, improved pricing comparison, and strengthened CTA placement across the site.

Design Decision

01

Reframe Features Around User Value

I shifted the messaging from feature descriptions to real salon-owner pain points, such as fragmented booking channels and missed appointments. This made each feature easier to connect to a familiar problem.

02

Make Plan Differences Easier to Compare

I restructured the pricing page into a clearer side-by-side comparison and rewrote feature labels using more familiar language. I also placed key CTAs after high-value content to make the next step easier to find.

03

Improve the Experience Across Devices

Because a significant share of traffic came from mobile, I refined layouts, typography, spacing, and images for smaller screens. I also added GA4 tracking for key actions such as app-download CTA clicks.

02

Clear Comparison and Action Paths Support ConversionSimplifying plan differences and placing CTAs at key decision points reinforced how information structure can directly influence user action.
